1. Scope

These terms cover the game Bạch Đằng on iPhone, iPad and Android, and this website, made and published by Boolery Studio (“we”). By downloading or playing the game, you agree to these terms.

On iPhone and iPad, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA) also applies. On Android, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Where they differ, the terms of the store you downloaded the game from prevail.

2. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or are allowed to use. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, modify or redistribute the game, or its art, music or text, except where the law allows.

3. Screenshots, videos and streaming

You may take screenshots, record gameplay videos, stream live and publish those videos, including on monetised channels, as long as you name the game Bạch Đằng. Please do not repost the full script, or extract the music or art for other uses.

4. Historical content

Bạch Đằng is fiction based on the battle of Bạch Đằng in 938. Many characters, lines and events in the game are our own invention. The in-game history notebook marks what the chronicles record, which chronicle records it, and what the game adds. The game is not an academic source; to learn more, read the chronicles cited in the notebook.

5. Price and in-app purchases

Chapter 1 is free. If paid chapters come later, payment, refunds and restoring purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their policies.

6. Beta versions

Beta versions (TestFlight, Google Play closed testing) may contain bugs, may change or stop at any time, and saved data may be erased by an update. Please don’t share invite links or unreleased content when we have asked you to keep them private.

7. No warranty

The game is provided “as is”. We do our best to make it run well, but we do not guarantee that it is free of bugs or runs on every device. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the game.

8. Ownership

The game, its art, music, text and the name Bạch Đằng as used in the game belong to Boolery Studio. The Alegreya and Noto Serif fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disagreements are first resolved by discussion through the Support page.

10. Changes and contact

When these terms change, this page will show the new update date. Send any questions through the Support page. See also our Privacy policy.

If this English version and the Vietnamese version differ, the Vietnamese version prevails.
